Below is the transition timeline for microbiology, chemistry, stability, antimicrobials, disinfection, and APA testing.
Note: New Product Sterility, BI Sterility, AET Sterility, Mycoplasma, Modified Mycoplasma, BET, Bioburden, Microbiology USP 61/62>, Water, and ID studies will be no longer be started at Fairfield.
17 Apr 2023: Modified Mycoplasma Testing LIVE in Salt Lake City.
01 Jun 2023: Last date that Fairfield will accept MICROBIOLOGY samples for Subcontracting to Itasca, Salt Lake City, or Bozeman from Fairfield (samples will need to be sent direct to one of those locations).
02 Jun 2023: Last day for on-site Environmental Monitoring services at client sites.
Note: New Stability and Method Transfer Chemistry studies will be no longer be started at Fairfield.
31 May 2023: Last start date: Particulates studies will be put onto test at Fairfield.
01 Jun 2023: Last date that Fairfield will accept CHEMISTRY/STABILITY studies for Subcontracting to Itasca, Salt Lake City, or Bozeman from Fairfield (samples will need to be sent direct to one of those locations).
Additionally, Nelson Labs Pharmaceutical Center of Excellence (Itasca, IL) – Chemistry Expansion LIVE for
new Method Transfer, with Monograph studies and full capabilities by 01 July 2023.
Note: New Antimicrobial/Disinfection/APA studies will be no longer be started at Fairfield.
17 Apr 2023: Antibiotic Potency Testing (APA) LIVE in Salt Lake City. APA Testing includes Neomycin, Nystatin, Polymyxin, Bacitracin. The remaining antibiotic products for USP APAs will be available in 2024.
01 Jun 2023: Last date that Fairfield will accept ANTIMICROBIALS / DISINFECTION / APA
samples for Subcontracting to Itasca, Salt Lake City, or Bozeman from Fairfield (samples will need to be
sent direct to one of those locations).
