To celebrate Nelson Labs’ 40th anniversary, we hosted a golf tournament and awards dinner at the Homestead Resort in Midway, Utah—a day designed not only to recognize this important milestone, but also to connect with the customers, partners, and employees who have helped make our success possible.
Despite steady rain, the event saw strong turnout and great energy. After attending a kickoff lunch, golfers hit the course, and some of them even endured hours of rain to complete 18 holes. Participants also enjoyed lighthearted competitions, like blindfolded putting and a “marshmallow” drive, throughout the day.
In the evening, guests gathered for dinner and an awards ceremony. Nelson Labs VP of Quality Matt Cushing spoke about the company’s journey over the past four decades and the continued focus on moving “Onward and Upward, Together.” His remarks also touched on the personal side of this work, highlighting the impact it has had on his own family and what it has meant to be part of an organization committed to improving lives through science and service.
The tournament and dinner were a meaningful way to mark 40 years of progress and to look ahead with the same spirit of partnership and purpose that has defined Nelson Labs from the beginning.
