Nancy Vanderlinden graduated in 1992 as an Industrial Engineer in Chemistry, with a specialization in Polymers. She started working at Nelson Labs in 2010. Today, she leads a team of study directors specializing in extractables and leachables studies for parenteral applications such as prefilled syringes and vials closed with rubber plungers/stoppers. Thanks to her technical background in analytical, organic, and polymer chemistry, and previous practical experiences with chromatographic techniques, this role is a perfect match with her interests and past professional experiences. Nancy engages in complex conversations to work out customized E&L study designs and guides clients based on a thorough understanding of the regulatory environment (FDA, PQRI, ICH, BPOG, USP, etc.).
