This presentation will discuss chemical characterization and how these test methods can help evaluate the impact of a change to the overall biocompatibility of the device.  The presentation will discuss typical changes manufacturers encounter and how to evaluate the impact of the change in regard to patient safety.  Test options will be discussed along with case studies of material and processing changes.  Medical device manufacturers will walk away with a better understanding of chemical characterization and how to evaluate changes.
