Nelson Labs to Present Process Validations for Newly Manufactured Devices at BIOMEDevice Boston

SALT LAKE CITY, UT — March 18, 2014— Nelson Laboratories (www.nelsonlabs.com) will present at BIOMEDevice Boston March 26-27 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in booth 528. Nelson Labs will be bringing Alexa Tatarian, a Material Characterization and Process Validation Scientist at Nelson Labs, as their presenter at BIOMEDevice.

“With industry expectations evolving, it is essential to be up to date on the best ways to validate the cleanliness of newly manufactured devices,” said Ms. Tatarian. “During my presentation, I will cover test options to validate your process and how to set acceptance criteria.”

After Ms. Tatarian’s presentation, manufacturers will better be able to understand how to properly assess the cleanliness of their newly manufactured products, in addition to understanding key factors that affect cleanliness in their manufacturing process.

Ms. Tatarian will present Process Validations for Newly Manufactured Devices- Is Your New Device Clean? at BIOMEDevice’s Tech Theater Wednesday March 24 at 1:40 p.m. She will discuss the following:

  • Industry expectations for having device cleanliness data on file
  • Cleanliness standards and current working documents
  • Current trends used to develop acceptance criteria
  • Test options available for validating cleanliness
