FDA announced new Office of Science and Engineering Laboratories (OSEL) Research Programs webpages. These webpages allow users to research by Clinical Area or by Special Topics. A few examples of searchable Clinical Areas are: Orthopedics, In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), and Surgery. Special Topics include, but are not limited to: Clinical Research, Device-Tissue Interactions, and Nanotechnology.
This is a transparent move by US FDA and will allow users to identify clinical and specialty contacts at the organization. Users who are interested in pre-planning with FDA to make sure their offerings will meet FDA’s criteria will find these webpages to be especially helpful.
