Dr. Candace Rose Fox is a distinguished virologist and the Senior Scientist in Virology at Nelson Labs’ Bozeman facility. She holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Central Florida, where she excelled under the mentorship of Dr. Griffith Parks. During her doctoral studies, Dr. Fox focused on a wide array of viruses including SARS-CoV-2, Zika virus, and others, resulting in numerous influential publications and presentations. Her postdoctoral tenure at the University of Central Florida further solidified her expertise, where she led significant research on infectious diseases and played a crucial role in developing novel antimicrobial nanoparticles, securing over $1 million in grant funding for her projects.
