Dr. Daniel Prince has a Master of Science from Rutgers University in Microbiology and holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and as well as a Ph.D. from Rutgers University in molecular biology. His Ph.D. thesis was on the effect of post transcriptional methylation of hamster mitochondrial ribosomal RNA
Before Joining Gibraltar Laboratories, he worked as an Electron Microscopist at the Coney Island Aquarium. At Gibraltar Laboratories, he started at the bottom and worked his way up the ladder under the mentorship of his father Dr. Herbert Prince and with the support of his mother Mrs. Leah Prince. He proudly served as Gibraltar’s second president for over 30 years. Today Dr. Prince is part of the Nelson Labs team as Chief Scientific Officer.
He has published many important papers and book chapters and helped clients successfully solve complex problems from a scientific, GMP, and regulatory perspective. He is committed to excellence in all aspects of his life, including work! In addition, he is passionate about recognizing and training leaders in pursuit of achieving sustainable results. Outside of work he loves being with his family and spending lots of time on the dance floor and tennis court.
