Our E&L expert Pieter Van Wouwe will give a presentation about extractables and leachables on combination devices. The presentation is sheduled on the first day of the conference, Sept 27th at 12:20PM CEST.
Injection Devices used for Parenteral Administrations require a particular approach when it comes down to designing the studies for Extractables and Leachables testing. An introduction to Medical Device Regulations (ISO 10993 series) will be given in this presentation. Differences in practical approaches for Medical Devices compared to Pharmaceutical Packaging Considerations will be discussed in view of combination products. Several case studies will emphasize critical aspects of study design and help clarify which guidelines should be considered.
