You might notice some changes going on at Nelson Laboratories—changes we think enhance our brand, honor our heritage and make it easier for our clients to work with us. As you look at the changes you’ll notice we haven’t departed from our progressive traditions, we’ve just added to them.

Our enhanced logo is not very different from our prior logo, but reflects an incremental change. This incremental improvement is something we believe in. As a team, we are always evaluating our processes to find a better way. This means that today is great at Nelson Labs, but tomorrow will be even better.
If you’re reading this you’ve already noticed one of the additions—the Nelson Labs Blog. Here you will find all kinds of news and information about the company, the latest developments in testing, articles on things you need to know to streamline your product development, and even the latest standard changes. For example, you can read,
Big Three: Cytotoxicity, Sensitization, and Irritation, about the three tests every medical device must go through before submission to the FDA.
We’ve made some changes to improve our Web site as well. For example, we now have more relevant content with more resources designed to answer your questions and help you prepare for your
product testing. We will have an improved
Customer Portal for better sample tracking features as well as more streamlined and easier to read final reports. This is estimated to be live in August 2010.

In January we moved into our new 50,000 square foot building increasing the capacity of our lab space to provide better overall efficiencies, expansion of services, growth, and to provide the all important ability to maintain our own very high service standards.
Finally, you can now follow us on
Twitter and
Facebook. In fact, we invite you to become a member of our community and allow us to become part of yours.
We hope you like the changes and benefit from all the many ways you can now reach us. Feel free to engage with us by leaving your responsible comments below each blog entry.
Ultimately, we hope these changes will greatly enhance your experience with our services.
