The American Society of Quality (ASQ) recently certified several employees at Nelson Labs. ASQ advances the professional development, credentials, knowledge and information services on behalf of its members.
The certifications allow Nelson Labs to create an increased layer of confidence among its clients. They contribute to reliable and reproducible tests, provide increased credibility while trouble shooting problems, and provide an expertise in quality in all aspects of the company.
The following became Certified Quality Auditors (CQA):
- Tonya Morris, Pharmaceutical Section Leader
- Dan B. Floyd, Laboratory Manager
- Jenica Floyd, Quality Assurance Reporting
Quality Auditor’s analyze all elements of a quality system and judge its degree of adherence to the criteria of industrial management and quality evaluation and control systems.
The following became Certified Quality Process Analysts (CQPA):
- Mike Neilson, Pharmaceutical Department Manager
- Kimberlee Dickman, Pharmaceutical Study Director
- Will Heaton, Quality Control Validation Specialist
- Katie Swenson, Quality Assurance Auditor
Quality Process Analysts analyze and solve quality problems and participate in quality improvement projects.
